Welcome to our Church

You are welcome to the website of Chapel of Praise, a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, North America (RCCGNA). We are a full Bible pentecostal church and our mission is to share the love of Jesus Christ in our immediate community and beyond. We pursue the great commission of Jesus Christ as provided in Matt. 28 vs.19-20 and we achieve it through direct evangelism and other forms of community outreach like our “Food For All” program which provides food and clothing to local residents who are in need.

At Chapel of Praise our doors are open to welcome you, our arms are open to receive you, and, our hearts are big enough to extend God’s love to you. OUR BELIEFS

In the verbal inspiration of the Bible. In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked. Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.

In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost. Holiness to be God's standard of living for His people. In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.

That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.

In the Lord's Supper and washing of the saints' feet. In the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.

That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins. That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

The Ministries Provided by Chapel Of Praise

At Chapel Of Praise all our ministries are focused on introducing people to Christ and teaching them how to experience a wonderful and abundant life, led by and filled with Christ. To achieve this goal we have many ministries for all age groups. If you do not see what you are looking for in the list of ministries below, please contact us and we will get back to you about your interest.

Adult – Sunday School

Adult Sunday School meets each week, 9:00am – 10:00am to develop and mature believers into a deeper relationship with Christ through the study of the Bible. Teaching both by expository and topically in both the Old & New Testament.

Children’s Sunday School

Children Sunday School meets each week, 9:00am – 10:00am to teach the children in the knowledge of the Bible, the love of God and the story of Jesus through creative age appropriate study. For the children we do correspond with the public school year closings, we take two weeks off for Christmas and do not conduct classes during the summer.

Men’s Reality

The purpose of “Men’s Reality” is to bring men together so that they may be accountable to each other, develop leadership skills, become mentors to young men in the church, and reach out to unchurched men. We meet every third Saturday for breakfast and fellowship at 9:00 AM.

Women's Ministries

The purpose of our woman’s ministries is to provide a safe place where women are encouraged to know God more intimately and where they can experience salvation through Jesus Christ. It’s a place where relationship with God and each other can be established through Bible studies and retreats. Our ultimate goal is to see women fulfill their God-given destiny in their personal life and in their life in the church.

Music Ministry

We were created to glorify God. Chapel of Praise believes the purpose for worship is to bless our King and enter into His presence where we can corporately experience the power and glory of God. Chapel of Praise has several worship teams which bless us each week with awesome Praise and Worship. While we are predominantly contemporary in our worship style, we still offer a mix of the old, loved hymns and praise songs.

Children’s Ministries

Let the children Come to Me”

Our Vision is to see a generation arise with love and passion for following their Lord and Savior. After participating in worship together as a family, children are invited to join our Children’s Church. As we gather weekly, children will participate in various activities, where they will be taught the word of God and learn how to apply it to their daily lives.

Nursery:
We provide a staffed nursery where you babies will feel loved and cared for.

Walking through 2 years old:
We welcome children that have just started to walk and explore. Our teachers, teach while playing, coloring, and sharing a snack.

3-7 Year Olds:
While using the Buzz curriculum your children will learn about God and his Word. This is an active class – and we have a great teaching staff that loves working with our children.

8-12 Year Olds:
This is a great group of kids and Teachers! We are using a curriculum called “Hearing God.” This group works on applying the word of God into their everyday lives.

CRAVE - Teen Ministry

CRAVE, as the name suggests, exists to encourage the teens of our generation to desire a deeper relationship with their Creator. Our mission statement is taken directly out of Colossians 3:1-17, where we are challenged to put off the things of this world, and to develop the faith and strength it takes to stand in a world that tells us to blend in! To have a desire for purity and integrity! To walk as, “heirs and co-heirs with Christ.” (Romans 8:17) Our heart is for them to, “Shine like stars in the universe as they hold out the word of life…” (Philippians 2:14-15)

We would love for you to join us any Wednesday evening at 7pm for an evening of games, worship, and a challenging message.

Prayer Ministry

“We desire to be used as His vessels to be able to birth His promises through prayer. We long for people to become so intimate with the Father that they will hear even the faintest of whisper from the Holy Spirit and be able to walk in ALL that He has for them. We long to see our community brought into a deep relationship with the Father that will bring forth a mighty revival into our State and Country.”

The Chapel of Praise Prayer Ministry involves training up the prayer team to draw alongside people and minister to them through prayer, whether this is during altar time or during the week. Scheduled times of prayer are Sunday morning and Sunday evening. See the bulletin or call the church for more information.

A wide variety of classes meet each week to welcome and nurture adults in their faith journey. Classes differ in size, format, and focus. Offerings may include textual, topical, ministry specific, or special needs studies. Some are age-specific while others are inter-generational. Many are on-ongoing throughout the year while special series are also provided.
