Welcome to our Church

You are welcome to the website of Chapel of Praise, a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, North America (RCCGNA).

We are a full Bible pentecostal church and our mission is to share the love of Jesus Christ in our immediate community and beyond.

We pursue the great commission of Jesus Christ as provided in Matt. 28 vs.19-20 and we achieve it through direct evangelism and other forms of community outreach like our “Food For All” program which provides food and clothing to local residents who are in need.

At Chapel of Praise our doors are open to welcome you, our arms are open to receive you, and, our hearts are big enough to extend God’s love to you.

OUR BELIEFS

In the verbal inspiration of the Bible. In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked. Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.

In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost. Holiness to be God's standard of living for His people. In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.

That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.

In the Lord's Supper and washing of the saints' feet. In the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.

That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins. That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

My beautiful wife Stephanie and I are both from Wilcox County in the great state of Georgia. We were both raised in the Southern Baptist denomination.

Jeremy Evjene and Family

My wife Sheetal and I have had the wonderful blessing of serving in the CRAVE Youth Ministry at the Chapel of Praise since 2008, and we are completely blown away by all God has given us.

Lori Wilkerson and Family

Hi – Welcome to Chapel of Praise. My name is Lori Wilkerson. My husband Doug and I moved to Eureka in 2014 from Pennsylvania and we just LOVE It here!

Bert and Luci Hall

Lucile and I moved to Eureka in August of 2002 from company housing at Wolf Prairie where I worked for the BNSF Railroad as a Section laborer.

Bill and Deb Boucher

Deb and I relocated to the Eureka area after retiring in 1996. We had attended a few churches in the area to see what their services were like. In 2003 we started attending Chapel of Praise

Linda and I met and married here in Eureka in 1979.

John and Sandy McCrorie

In 2002 Sandy and I moved here from lake county. we prayed where to attend church,we visited Chapel of Praise off and on praying for the Lord's leadership in where to worship.

Roger and Arletta Presnell

Arletta and I have been attending Chapel of Praise since 2003. We came looking for a church that was warm and welcoming and taught the Word of God. We found it here.

Steve and Cheryl Mote

We first moved to the Eureka area, from Colorado, in 1993. We had attended a number of congregations over the years, but never really felt ``at home``.

General Information

If you have children:

The children are no longer dropped off at Children’s Church, they remain in the service until after the worship portion is completed. Children’s Church serves children from 3 years of age to sixth grade and is located on the west side of the gymnasium.

We also have two (2) nurseries located on the west side of the sanctuary. One is for newborn/crawlers, and our toddler nursery is for our little walkers.

TIME AND LOCATIONS

SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE CLASSES & SERVICE

A wide variety of classes meet each week to welcome and nurture adults in their faith journey. Classes differ in size, format, and focus. Offerings may include textual, topical, ministry specific, or special needs studies. Some are age-specific while others are inter-generational. Many are on-ongoing throughout the year while special series are also provided.

WEEK & EVENING BIBLE CLASSES & SERVICE

Daytime and evening classes meet for study and discussion throughout the year. A wide variety of opportunities are available for men and women as well as general adult groups. Wednesday evenings offer several choices including “Peak of the Week,” short term presentations that inspire and inform.
